Design a Memorial
Now that all your planning is complete, it's time to design your model!
Remember, it should only be a small model of the memorial that you will be incorporating into your school yard design. You will, however, be using this model in your presentation to the school council.
Before you begin, remember:
You will also need to write a brief Artist's Statement. This is similar to the design brief that you have already written, but instead of writing about how you will create your piece, the Artist Statement is about how you did create your piece, and why. It only needs to be a paragraph, and it will be inscribed onto a small plaque near the memorial if your proposal is chosen as the winner.
