Your task:In your groups create your own garden using the Flora for Fauna resource opposite, taking into consideration: 1. Plants that will grow in your Flora and Fauna growing zone of Kinglake. 2. The risk of bushfire within the area and possible prevention strategies within your garden. 3. Strategies or structures to attract native fauna into your garden. (More information can be found on the Attracting Fauna page for this next step). Tip: To get started follow the steps in the Flora for Fauna resource by entering in your state as Victoria, town search Kinglake and then view and choose plants that will grow in your growing zone to create a fire safe garden. |

In your group choose a method to present your final garden design with an accompanying rationale behind your plant and garden design choices.
You may wish to present in the format of a poster, powerpoint presentation, interview or any other appropriate method and use the Garden Planner Tool below from the Flora for Fauna website to design your garden layout.
